Tokyo, August 21, 2013<\/strong>\u2013Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) announced today that it will introduce DUALSHOCK\u00ae4 Charging Station and PlayStation\u00ae4(PS4\u2122) Vertical Stand, concurrently with the launch of PS4\u2122 in Europe at a recommended retail price (RPP) of \u20ac29, \u00a325, and \u20ac19, \u00a316 respectively.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

DUALSHOCK\u00ae4 Charging Station<\/strong><\/p>\n

By utilizing the charging station, users will be able to charge up to two DUALSHOCK\u00ae4 Wireless Controllers at once without having to connect them to the PS4\u2122 system.  Users can charge DUALSHOCK\u00ae4 by simply inserting the controller to the charging connector on the charging station and by plugging it into a household electrical outlet. <\/p>\n

Vertical Stand<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Vertical Stand will allow users to set PS4\u2122 in a vertical position, making it easier to place the system anywhere they wish. The Vertical Stand comes in black with a glossy finish that matches perfectly with the PS4\u2122 system. Users are able to attach the Vertical Stand to PS4\u2122 without using any additional tools; they simply have to adjust the stand to the PS4\u2122 system and screw the pinch by hand to lock.\n<\/p>\n

Furthermore, users can continue to use PlayStation\u00aeMove motion controller and PlayStation\u00aeMove navigation controller including associated peripherals, PlayStation\u00aeMove sharp shooter*1<\/span> and PlayStation\u00aeMove racing wheel on PS4\u2122. Certain PlayStation\u00ae3 peripherals including, Wireless Stereo Headset (CECHYA-0080)*2<\/span> and PULSE wireless stereo headset – Elite Edition (CECHYA-0086)*2<\/span>, will also be supported by future system software updates*3<\/span>.<\/p>\n
