Tokyo, September 15, 2011 <\/strong>\u2013 Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. responsible for business operation in Japan, today announced that a \u201cPlayStation\u00ae3 FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 LIGHTNING EDITION Ver.2\u201d bundle pack will be available on December 15, 2011. The bundle pack will include the PlayStation\u00ae3 (PS3\u00ae) computer entertainment system with 320GB hard disk drive (HDD) and the FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 software title for PS3 and will be a limited offer at a recommended retail price of 37,960 yen (including tax). <\/p>\n

FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 from SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. is the long-awaited sequel to the acclaimed FINAL FANTASY XIII which has sold over 6 million units worldwide. The FINAL FANTASY franchise is characterized by its spectacular visuals, highly imaginative worlds and rich stories and is highly received by fans around the globe as one of the master piece of Japanese RPG. As a franchise, it has shipped more than 100 million units worldwide*1 <\/sup><\/p>\n

The PS3 system, bundled with the FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 software title, comes in a special pearl black color with one of the game\u2019s heroine, \u201cLightning,\u201d printed on the surface of the system. The design in red color, the conceptual color of the game, contrasts favorably with the pearl black body, depicting the dark and seriousness of the game\u2019s world concept. <\/p>\n
